Ideal Funeral Parlor, Inc.

Worked 1st funeral July 22, 2016.
I am a daughter of Roscoe and Lady Bessie Black. I am the eldest of 7 children. I attended West Florence High School and graduated in 1988. I also did 3 years at Florence-Darlington Tech.
I was married, 27 years, to the late Arthur Alford Jr. and to this union 10 children were born.
I have always had the desire to be a mortician and even went to school for it. I’ve always wanted to work for Ideal Funeral Parlor, even as a young teenager. I used to ask the elder, Mr. Rufus Hawkins, to hire me every time I got close to him . I wanted it that bad.
I simply LOVE being a part of the Ideal team because we are a family. Our director, Mr. Douglas Hawkins, knows everyone and everyone knows him.
I love meeting the families and being able to SERVE each and every one has been a tremendous blessing.

Mrs. Debbie Paige-Cain, a lifelong native of Florence, SC, is the proud mother of three children, Jeremy, Chad and Chasity; and eight grands. I earned an Associate degree from Florence Darlington Technical College.
I have been blessed to serve in this ministry with Ideal Funeral Parlor, Inc. for 20 ½ years. I do believe that God placed me with Ideal to be a blessing to the families we serve. My motto is “If I can help somebody as I travel along, then my living will not be in vain.”
I proudly work and serve with Ideal Funeral Parlor, Inc.
